How Is This Different From Other Instacart Shopper Roles?

Known as the “Full Service” role, this role requires shoppers to both perform in-store shopping and also the ensuing delivery to the customer’s doorstep. Instacart also offers the Instacart Shopper - In-Store role. Unlike the in-store-only role, this role has lots of flexibility. You choose which orders you want to shop, and have no limit on how many batches you can fulfill. The in-store-only role offers a specific hourly wage, and you schedule specific shifts on a week-to-week basis. The in-store-only role does not require access to a vehicle.

Requirements to Become a Full-Service Shopper

• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Consistent access to a vehicle (car, van, or truck).
• Consistent access to and ability to effectively use a recent smartphone (iPhone 6s / Android 5.0 or newer).
• Ability to lift 50 lbs with or without accommodation.
